Productions

As a modern artist, my passion and skillset lies not just with singing, but with creating new and interesting operatic works. Opera is a living, breathing, visceral art form. I seek to not only create new works with new, underrepresented composers, but to create new concert experiences audiences will enjoy.

Lost Narratives (2022)

Julie D’Aubigny, a bisexual duelist; Mary Shelley, a prolific horror writer; Artemisia Gentileschi, a sexual abuse survivor/revolutionary Baroque painter, are the three extraordinary women at the center of a new recital series that celebrate the unheard narratives and voices of generations past and present.

Through three newly commissioned art song cycles, this new voice recital tells the story of each historical figure with a combination of classically sung pieces, and projected visuals.

Death and a Maiden (2020)

Death and a Maiden is a short film based on Rossa Crean’s haunting art song cycle for unaccompanied voice Twilight Lifts the Veil. Through sparse visuals and eerie, atmospheric vocals, the film explores the motif of death, and depicts the looming, inescapable nature of mortality

How To Tell a Scary Story is a children’s opera which premiered at Northwestern University in 2018.
